Since 2006 we have run annual visitor studies at the Cueva Pintada Museum and Archaeological Park in Gáldar, run by the Department of Culture of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. This series is the longest and most thorough visitor study programme carried out in Spain, substantially exceeding those of state institutions both in scale and in the breadth of techniques used. Its longevity makes it possible to track the sequence of results from 2006 to the present day.
In parallel, numerous specific evaluations of public and educational programmes have been carried out.
Some of these projects have been run from the Autonomous University of Madrid (managed through FUAM); others in collaboration with the company Interpretart.
