2018–19. Learning and teaching museums. Training programmes for volunteers in the Roman Museums (Italy, Portugal, Spain). An Erasmus+ action-based training programme, organised by the National Museum of Roman Art in Mérida in collaboration with the National Museum of Archaeology of Lisbon and the Museum of the Imperial Forums in Rome.
This programme is part of a long-running collaboration on the volunteer training plan of the National Museum of Roman Art (MNAR), with Pilar Caldera and Nova Barrero.
Our partnership with MNAR dates back to the early 1990s and has included visitor studies, exhibition evaluations, programme design (such as the European project “All Roads Lead to Rome”) and historical-reenactment programmes such as “Women in the Mist”, among many others.
