Dr. Jorge Ruiz Jiménez

He completed his specialisation at the École du Louvre and holds a PhD in Archaeology with a thesis on the planning of museum projects for archaeological sites, building on his work under our supervision in the European APPEAR project, which included case studies at the site museums of Roman Zaragoza, the Rose Theatre in London, and the archaeological sites of the Aosta Valley and the Crypta Balbi in Rome. After working as a technician at the UAM, he joined Complutum, where he managed the site and its public and educational programmes. He later worked at the Volvo Museum in Alicante and recently secured a position at the House of European History in Brussels, a museum overseen by the European Parliament.\nIn parallel, in recent years he has developed an entrepreneurial project for cultural visits called Odysseos, offering more thoughtful, personalised cultural experiences linked to the heritage of various Spanish cities.
