PhD from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Master’s in Social Communication and a degree in Psychology. Lecturer and researcher in the fields of Psychology, Education and Communication for more than 15 years. Specialist in innovation and creativity. Teaching experience in clinical and educational psychology, psychopedagogy, communication and anthropology. Lecturer and researcher at several national and international universities, including: University of Havana (Cuba), University of Birmingham (United Kingdom), Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), University of Minho (Portugal) and University of Cassino (Italy), among others. He is currently a full-time professor at UNIR and collaborates with the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has developed several research lines throughout his career.

Highlights include: Youth cultures and their relationship with drug use — a collaborative project between the University of Havana and the University of Birmingham.

Migration among university students in Cuba — a project endorsed by the CLACSO network, based in Argentina.

He is currently working on research linked to the development of creative potential in childhood and educational innovation processes in museums. He has a particular interest in the learning of heritage and history through technological mediation and online interactions.
